Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of the personal information that The Crackpots Coffee Sdn Bhd holds about you. It applies to data collected through our website, our order-ahead app, our loyalty programme, and our WhatsApp messaging.

What we can delete

  • Your contact details, including your phone number and WhatsApp profile name
  • Your order and collection history
  • Your loyalty programme balance and points transaction history
  • The content of WhatsApp messages you have exchanged with us
  • Any push-notification subscription linked to your device

How to request deletion

Send us a deletion request by either of the following methods, quoting the phone number or e-mail associated with your account so we can locate your records:

  • WhatsApp or call us at +603-2784 1442
  • E-mail us at thecrackpotscoffee@gmail.com with the subject line “Data deletion request”

What happens next

We will verify that the request comes from you, delete the personal information we hold about you, and confirm once this is done — normally within 30 days. We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires us to (for example, transaction records needed for tax and accounting purposes), and will delete it once that obligation ends.

A note on WhatsApp

We message you using the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Deleting your data with us removes it from our systems; any message data held by Meta or WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp’s own Privacy Policy.
