Natural but clean coffee? You are looking at one!
Produced by Montecillos Coffee, this Honduran lempira has a delicate white floral aroma, followed by citrusy acidity which later turned into red apple sweetness with tea aftertaste. All in all, we would say that it is a natural processed coffee done well!
The lempira varietal falls under the catimor lineage (a cross breed between Caturra and Timor varietals). It is a pedigree selection by Instituto Hondureño del Café (IHCAFE) based on the varietal's performance against coffee tree diseases.
